Supt. Alan W. Reed presented Darryl McGaha with the Adair County School District's presitigious Meritorious Service Award at the board's meeting at the Breeding Fire Station last night, Tuesday, May 25, 2016. McGaha is the third recipient of the award. Tony Rose, Adair County 4-H leader, was the first, in 2014. In 2015, the award went to Dr. Ron Rogers. Mr. McGaha has been instrumental in getting Adair County "Work Ready," and has been the driving force, with the district board and leaders in making the Satellite Vocational School a reality.
