Congratulations go out to Lindsey Brooke Roberts, a 2016 graduate of Madison Central High School in Richmond KY. Lindsey graduated with high distinction with a 4.0 from MCHS where she was a member of the Madison Central Marching Band through all four years of high school. She played the flute and was the Flute Section Leader when the band won the 5A State Championship for the last two years. She will be continuing her education at Eastern Kentucky University this fall. Lindsey is the daughter of Susan (Long) and Joe Lillis and Steve Roberts of Richmond. Three Taylor County Sheriffs get together 2016-05-25 - Downtown Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Larry Smith, FM 99.9 the Big Dawg & FM 92.7 the WAVE. It's not often that 3 people that have served as Sheriff of Taylor County get together for a little laugh and reminiscing in downtown Campbellsville. On the left is former sheriff and now Taylor County Jailer Eddie "Hack" Marcum, in the middle is former sheriff and retired Kentucky State Trooper John Shipp. Shipp was a trooper and detective at post 15 in Columbia and post 4 in Elizabethtown. On the right is Alan Newton our current sheriff and one of our more popular residents of Taylor County, Newton won the past two elections by a landslide.
