Justin Walker, 11, shared science and food preparation tips with me recently when we were talking about things we really like. For instance he knows how to make no-drip Popsicles and has proven it in his mother Tammy Stotts' kitchen. His favorite drink is Mtn. Dew and he makes Popsicles out of it that won't drip -- he says all you do is boil the soda pop to rolling bubbles, turn off the heat and pour it into a bowl to cool. Then you mix in non flavored gelatin, pour into Popsicle freezer forms and put it in the freezer overnight. Justin is a master gardener already at his young age and is shown here working in the raised beds in his yard. He says he learns a lot from the science programs available on Youtube.
