Dog of the Day - Not-for-sale-at-any-price: Ringo Clark

Greatness just shows in the face of this Mountain Feist, affirmed by his master, Dale Clark, a noted Feist expert of the Coburg Community. Ringo Clark talks with Larry and communicates silently with Anita, his wife. Each evening, after supper, Ringo is supposed to be given three Reese's Cups for dessert. He pleads, using mostly silent eye contact, with Anita no matter how long she makes him wait. But when Larry intercedes, and says, "Can't you give that dog his candy!" Ringo joins in, saying, "Worf! Worf! Worf! Worf! Worf!," until his mistress accedes, and proffers the treats. Ringo keeps the groundhogs out of the tomatoes, and took time to pose for this portrait after Dale coaxed him. "Say Cheese, Ringo!" he said, and Ringo did. - Ed Waggener
