Assistant Adair County High School Principal Travis Gay updated the Columbia/Adair County Chamber of Commerce on the new Virtual Classroom in the basement of Adair County High School, in space recovered from storage. The space will have 90 devices for online learning with coaches to assist as needed.

Columbia/Adair County Chamber of Commerce President Ellen Zornes announced a major milestone for the community. She announced that she had received official word that Columbia-Adair County is now officially designated Work Ready Community. More details will come with an official announcement from the State. Zornes made the announcement at the July 12, 2016 monthly meeting of the Chamber at Lindsey Wilson College.
