Here's a close up of the mystery antenna, mounted on a stop sign facing on Guthre Street at it's Jamestown Street intersection. Mayor Curtis Hardwick, others are wondering who put it there.

Sen. Max Wise recipient of 2016 APSC Friend of Pharmacy Award

Senator Max Wise was recognized as the 2016 APSC Friend of Pharmacy Award. This award was presented to him for all of his hard work, support and eventual passage of SB (Senate Bill) 117 this past session in Frankfort. The passage was a huge victory for Independent pharmacies throughout the state of Kentucky. Gracie Parrott wins 1st place in Green County Invitational

The Green County Girls Golf Team held it's annual invitational on Friday, July 29th to open season. There were 9 teams participating including Green County AND 14 individuals.
Green County came out winner with a score of 338. Taking the win over Russell County and Sheldon Clark with both teams shooting a 368. Gracie Parrott had an impressive front 9 with a 34 (2 under par) struggling somewhat on the back 9 with a 40, but completing her round with a wonderful score of 74 - 2 over par for the day. Tied with Keista Elder from Elizabethtown, Gracie and Keista had to have a sudden death playoff on hole no. 1 to take the title. Gracie defeating Elder, winning the hole to finish the tournament with the 1st place title. Gracie is the Granddaughter of Adair County 5th district magistrate, Billy Dean Coffey, of Clay Ridge, and daughter of Walt and Deana Parrott of Greensburg.
