Wildflowers of Kentucky: Maypop or Passion Flower - I 2016-09-04 - Burkesville Road, near Breeding, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com (c). This Maypop, or Passion Flower, was spotted by Linda near Breeding, close to the Harrods Fork Loop south turnoff of Burkesville Road. The plant is a favorite of Mike Morris, who spotted one while riding his bicycle along Fern Valley Road in Louisville, KY and remembered that the plants have grown profusely in the Phillip Richard fence row on Jones Chapel Road and reminded us that they should be in bloom.
