CMS students raising money for Taylor County Animal Shelter

Campbellsville Middle School students are raising money for the Taylor County Animal Shelter. Starting on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 students can color/decorate paw prints that will be hung in the school's front lobby for a 50-cent donation to the animal shelter. The Paws for a Cause fundraiser will end on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Paw prints will be available at Guidance Counselor Beth Wiedewitsch's office. Red Tailed Hawk visits Homeplace on Green River

The beautiful Red Tailed Hawk is common hereabouts, but not too often seen this close-up. This fellow traveled first class in a van to the Homeplace on Green River Fall Heritage Festival Saturday. He's a member of the Liberty Nature Center’s travelling raptor show.
