Fourth-graders enjoy Sharpen the Saw time

Students had fun playing volleyball, basketball and dodgeball, reading and much more. "Pagoda Chair" by Billie Bradford; is part of a new exhibit "Have a Seat: Chairs by Kentucky Artisans" at Kentucky Artisan Center. A reception for the artists will be held on Sunday, September 25, from 12:30pm-2pmCT/1:30pm-3pmET, and is open to the public. This exhibit is on display through February 25, 2017, at the center. The Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea is located at 200 Artisan Way - just off Interstate 75 at Berea Exit 77 - Berea, KY. The center's exhibits, shopping and travel information areas are open daily, year-round, 8am-5pmCT/9am-6pmET and the cafe is open from 8am-3pmCT/9am-4pmET. Admission is free. Local artists Dave Waltz of Gradyville, Adair County, KY, and Paige Candler of Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, are among exhibitors.
