The Victory Bell Tower is dedicated
 2016-10-05 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Travis Smith. The victory bell is rung for the first time in 40 years at the dedication ceremony on Friday afternoon. Alumna Mrs. Nancy Fouser '62 gets help from class of 2016 alums Abigail Calhoun from Lexington, Ky., Emily Redmon from Columbia, Ky., and Brandon McDowell from Hebron, Ind. as Alex Janes of Fabco, Inc. and LWC President William T. Luckey Jr. look on. The victory bell tower was funded in part by gifts made by the Class of 2016.

Paul Long, a 1975 Alumnus of LWC, received the distinguished alumnus award; Dr. Mohammad Pourheydarian received the honorary alumnus award; Dr. S. Ross Martin, a 2005 LWC alumnus, received the outstanding young alumnus award; LWC Alumni Council President Kenneth Jessee '81 of Elizabethtown, KY; and LWC Director of Alumni Relations Randy Burns.
