Mobile classroom at Downtown Days

Debbie Cowan and Lee Ann Jessie opened the Adair County School mobile classroom which is used on the campus for the Gifted and Talented students at Downtown Days. The mobile classroom involves the use of student manufactured bio-diesel, solar, wind, and mobile wireless in a highly modified bus.

Fred Fetty of Jamestown, KY, entered his restored 1955 Ford F-100 in the Downtown Days Classic Auto Show, Saturday, October 8, 2016. The vehicle was his father's farm truck and was bought new in San Diego, CA. Above, he shows the original registration papers with matching License Plate Number for the Antique California plate the truck has today - there's a "L" in front of "85 020". Fred and his wife Helen Fetty have retired and now live on Kentucky 55 South, just across the Adair County line in Russell County, KY. Paired Photo.
