If you didn't know better, you'd think this could be a baptizing hole on the West Prong of Glens Fork Creek, looking upstream from the dry bridge on Yellowhammer Road. Elementary Students at HGR for Food for America event

CES third-graders participated in the Food for America event at The Homeplace on Green River to learn about beef and dairy cattle, trees, farm animals, greenhouses, farm safety and much more. Students played games and made crafts, and learned about where food comes from. Above CES third-graders practice removing shaving cream from balloons, to simulate what it might be like to shear a sheep. Columbia Police Chief Jason Cross led the escort welcoming William Rowe back to Adair County, as a Columbia Fire Department blocked Heartland Parkway traffic to give the caravan a clear road ahead to Keltner Road, past Rowe Farm's to the home of William Rowe and his parents, Fred & Bridget Rowe.
