Thirty-nine Cadets Graduate from KSP Academy

Campbellsville Elementary students meet Amazon reading challenge
 2016-10-29 - Campbellsville Elementary School, 315 Roberts Road (campus), Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Calen McKinney, Public Information Officer, Campbellsville Independent Schools (CIS). Campbellsville Elementary School students recently met a reading challenge and have received 100 books for their media center. During the 2015-2016 school year, Amazon donated several Kindles to the CES media center, and, at a ceremony to unveil the devices, students were challenged to read for 1,000 hours over the summer. CES students kept reading logs this summer, and surpassed the 1,000 hours. Holding some of the books Amazon has donated to the CES media center are, from left, front, first-grader Sarah Parrott and second-graders Sean Welch and Mark Lawson. Back, first-grader Kenady Gabehart, third-grader Raegan Gabehart, second-grader Timothy Coots and third-grader Lily Coots.
