Breakfast is served all day at Patty's Liberty Road. This brunch was served at 10:30amCT, and included a 7 oz. charcoal Grilled Strip Steak, a baked potato with sour cream and butter, 2 eggs over easy, buttered Texas Toast, and a generous fresh cut breakfast salad with lettuce, chopped onions, and tomatoes. Folks driving KY 206/Liberty Road, in the Farris Store community, might, if they didn't know otherwise, think the project above is another modern dwelling going up. Trevor Henson, above, a spokesperson Friday, November 4, 2016, explained that it is the future home of Ridge Runner Liquors. The store will be a spacious 1,500 s.f. There will be a front porch and drive in window, similar to Big John's on the left side of the building. Traffic, including big semi beer distributing trucks, will be able to circle the building, entering either on Rattler Curry Road or on a widened road on the far left. A metal roof will be added, and the building will have a rustic log cabin exterior. Henson said the owner, Phillip McLean, expects the store to be open in time for Christmas. It will like be, according to Adair County Deputy ABC commissioner Shannon Sexton, the first package liquore store licensed by the County ABC. Just .46 miles long, for the longest time Rattler Curry Road has been one of Adair County's best kept secrets. Maybe not for long, with a coming addition which puts it on the destination place radar for a huge three county catchment area. Long views back toward Columbia are great along the byway. Breath-takingly beautiful in every season, it was captivating on Friday, November 4, 2016, and is surely worth the time to drive through today.
