This is a part of the $5-and-change breakfast which included the dressed (with lettuce, a slice of onion and a slice of tomato, and dill chips) sausage biscuit, a similarly attired tenderloin biscuit, a bottle of water, and a cup of coffee, a warm welcome, and a hot tip on Chad's ride. Chad Pike, owner of this S-10, got a "gift" from his mechanic brother Kevin, when he recently had maintenance work done on his S-10. When the vehicle was picked up, Chad found that his brother had accented the engine with pink paint. Admiring the work, above are John Foster, and, hidden somewhat, Joe Curry. The gratuitous under-the-bonnet work was done to help Chad's truck match his girlfriend Christine Raymond's Pink Jeep, (See:Rides VI - Christina Raymond's Pink Jeep: Her favorite color and a statement) though the S-10 does not make quite the statement the Jeep does. The truck has been a magnet for for diners at Patty's 206 General Store & Deli, Vester, KY. - EW. This peaceful scene, an old oil lamp on a polished wood table, looks out into the beautiful maple trees in the yard at the City of Columbia's historic Trabue-Russell house. The interior of the house is getting an update thanks to volunteer Vonnie Kolbenschlag who has worked with the City staff and Lindsey Wilson College Bonner Scholars to give it much-needed attention. Epicurean Kentuckian: Fortuitous Fish Sandwich Discovery 2016-11-09 - Knifley, KY - Photo ColumbiaMagazine.com (C). Ever notice how it is the unexpected delights which are the most memorable. Hadn't expected a Mike Linnig quality fish sandwich in Knifley. But this one was. First, it is perfectly cooked Cod, not an easy fish to prepare. (The Crossroads serve both kinds of fish, Cat- and Cod-). Secondly, there's the option of bun or sandwich bread. This one is obviously sandwich - what may not be obvious is that it is sandwich worthy white bread, which the store sells from ricks of the stuff in the grocery section. The two filets are generously hefty, and the store finished the sandwich dressed the customer's way. This one with lettuce/onion/tomato and the most important enhancer, dill chips.
