Students in Breakfast Club produces functioning windmill

The Breakfast Club is part of the Migrant Program sponsored before school activities at ACPC. Some thoughtful person put this wildlife feeder up. Going into Squirrel Thought mode, one might think its invited guests are only squirrels. But one wonders if birds and deer are also welcome at these feeders. - EW

A Stunningly Beautiful fall picture of the Trabue-Russell House

Here's a outside shot I did of the Trabue Russell House a few years ago. I't always been a place where you can go and just walk around and enjoy the beauty of the stonework and surroundings. This landmark is a asset to the area and more should take time out to enjoy this gem right in their hometown of Columbia. - Greg Thomas

D. Boone carving at TRH - Chris Bennett wants to know more

"My question: On display with the Boone carving was a newspaper article on how the tree carving had been analyzed by experts and declared to be authentic. On top of the carving however there is a piece of paper glued to a cardboard that kind of says this carving is a fake, or that is how I took it. Tim Green said it was better for us to not question it and just believe. I really want to know "was my whole childhood a lie?" Do the historians of Adair County believe that Boone actually carved on this tree or was my childhood A lie? I will say this, there are other carvings that I have seen of Boone's that appear to be in the same hand writing style. - Chris Bennett
