Elementary students learn about the American flag

Campbellsville Elementary School students recently learned about the importance of the American flag. Dan Durham, program director at Air Evac Lifeteam and pastor at Stewarts Creek Baptist Church, recently came to CES to speak to kindergarten students about the American flag. Durham talked to students about how the flag was created, how it should be folded and why it's important to always respect the flag. Remembering: 'Remarkable Raider' Nancy Sinclair (1947-2016)

Nancy Whitlow Thompson Sinclair, lost her long battle on Sunday, November 20, 2016, at her home in Summersville, KY. Along the way, she had made a legion of friends and admirers, not the least of whom were the staff and students at her beloved Lindsey Wilson College. Above she was steadied by her daughter, Amy Thompson-Wells, as she was honored by the Lindsey Wilson Student Body. The caption with the photo, posted February 25, 2016, read:

"Lindsey Wilson College staff member Nancy Sinclair addresses members of the LWC community after being named a "Remarkable Raider" Wednesday night by the LWC Student Government Association. Sinclair, who is executive assistant to LWC President William T. Luckey Jr., has served at the college since 1987. At right is her daughter Amy Thompson-Wells, who is LWC director of civic engagement. - Duane Bonifer"

Fall Color: Bright Red along the dry banks of Bull Run Creek
