Map of 39 Work Ready Initiatives 1st round finalists
 2016-11-23 - Frankfort, KY . Adair County's application for funding from the Work Ready Skills Advisory Committee's 39 finalists, announced today, failed to make the first round cut, but several CM 7 county area applications are on the list, including those from Lindsey Wilson College (for a Louisville campus) for $549,000; Casey County Schools for $8,500,000; Green County Schools for $3,493,000; and Russell County Board of Education, for $12,291,000.00. The grant request from Adair County was for slightly over $4.5 million for a new Community Learning/Central office building. Grant applicants who did not make the finalists list today have been encouraged to re-submit applications for the next funding cycle.
