CMS eighth-grader Autumn Harvey shoots an arrow. Campbellsville Middle School students recently learned how to shoot an arrow. In Weston Jones's physical education class, students have been introduced to archery as a sport. Students were taught how to aim for the target, and how to calculate their points. It's Looking a Lot Like (bizarro) Christmas in Columbia! 2016-11-29 - Lindsey Wilson Building, Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com (c). It was Linda's concept. She spotted the great reflection in the window of the Lindsey Wilson Building, and thought it showed off the new look of the Jamestown Street face of the historic courthouse since the big maple was removed. The cars going around the circle-in-the-square is the first give away of the mirrored image, and one has to look closely to know that Nell's Variety Store hasn't snuck back in the middle right - that's Acapulco Mexican. An interesting aspect in the image, the Christmas lights in the Lindsey Wilson Building seem to be climbing toward the top of the clocktower, a subtle reminder of the days when Christmas lights 60 years or so ago were often put up and left up year around.
