CHS sophomore Glenn Lamer, above, teaches CMS fourth-graders about computer coding. Campbellsville High School students recently taught fourth-graders how to write computer coding. Student Technology Leadership Program and AP computer science students, with teacher Sonya Kessler, taught Campbellsville Middle School fourth-graders about computer coding. The CHS students told the fourth-graders that learning computer coding can help them in their future careers. They then led a hands-on activity in which the middle school students wrote computer codes and portrayed robots to test the codes for accuracy. The activity was part of Computer Science Education Week, which was the week of December 6, 2016. As part of the week, students worldwide were encouraged to participate in an Hour of Code, a hands-on experience learning to write computer code.
