The business was owned by the Milhar Corp - anyone remember why that name? - and was a must-visit-after-school destination for thousands of school kids in it's long reign, before the advent of the first Columbia Walmart, as one of Columbia's most popular ever venues. Supreme Court denies discretionary review of 2014 Mayoral Race 2016-12-14 - Photo photocopy from Columbia Mayor Curtis Hardwick. The Commonwealth of Kentucky's highest court has denied a request by Attorney Elmer George, representing Dr. Ben Arnold, a right-in candidate for Mayor of Columbia in 2014, for a discretionary review of the election. The order was entered Thursday, December 8, 2016, and Mayor Hardwick said he received a copy of the order today from City Attorney Marshall Loy. "It's the best Christmas present I could have received," Mayor Hardwick said. "As far as I'm concerned, I want to think it's over now, but it will depend on what the other side does next."
