Mike Jones, reports finances in order for Adair Schools
2016-12-16 - Adair County Board of Education Conference Room, 1204 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com (c). Mike Jones of the auditing firm Mather & Company gave an unmodified opinion for the 2015-2016 school year, at last night's December 15, 2016 regular monthly meeting of the Adair County School Board. The only finding, a repeat one, had to do with double checks on Adair County Elementary School receipts in 10 instances in the past year, but noted that steps have been taken to correct the procedures. Jones gave the report early, at the direction of Board Chair Floyd Burton, because of a long trip needed to get back to his home base in Louisville. - EW
