Nature's strange Christmas ornament: Snakeskin-cicle?

Linda stopped the car, backed up, and insisted she'd seen a strange icicle which looked like a snake. It looked more like an automotive strap at first, but back home we wonder. The icicle running from the lower left of the frame to the upper right does have a resemblance to a a snake skin. Any experts have an opinion? The photo was taken in Burkesville Tuesday, December 19, 2016. - EW
