This School of Distinction banner hangs by the college and career readiness center at Campbellsville High School. Campbellsville elementary and high schools recently received School of Distinction banners from the Kentucky Department of Education. The schools, based on state testing results from the 2015-2016 school year, tested into the state's highest category - School of Distinction. This is the first time either school has received this designation, and, as a result of its high score, CHS ranks in the Top 20 of all Kentucky high schools. Prayer request for Geniece Leftwich Marcum 2017-01-11 - Edmonton, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, columbiamagazine.com. Prayers are requested for Mom, Geniece Marcum. For over twelve months now she has been experiencing rapidly deteriorating health, multiple times in and out of ER, then hospital stays for UTIs followed by rehab and she is so weak of body and spirit. Today, just a few days after her 87th birthday, she gets her fondest wish, to go home from this most recent stay in rehab to be with Jane and Will and their pets once again.
