Golden Alert: 82-year-old man missing from Adair-Russell area

The Adair County Sheriff's Office has issued a Golden Alert D for a missing 82-year-old male with dementia. The missing man, Lester Terry is from the Adair - Russell County line area. He was last seen by family Sunday, February 5, 2017. He left his residence in a 2002 Red Ford Ranger pickup truck with Kentucky license plate 448 AAB. Mr. Terry is 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds and was wearing blue jean bib overalls and a denim jacket. Anyone seeing Mr. Terry or his vehicle is asked to call 911 or Adair County Dispatch at 270-384-6464. - Harrison Moss,Adair County Sheriff. And

Members of the 2007 regional championship team were recognized at the February 3, 2017, Friday night Adair County-Campbellsville girl/boy doubleheader. Sloan Fork Road from its intersection with Dry Fork Road and Merritt Ridge Road at Jennies Chapel UMC, Windsor, Casey County, KY is getting a major upgrade. It's worth the downright frightening descent from there to this gentle valley where the road passes through some of the most pleasant bottom land anywhere. The road leads to the Turkey Fork Road turnoff to Mintonville, or continues to South Fork Road, the Amish/Mennonite shopping area familiar to most.
