Campbellsville High School girls' basketball senior players Caylie Blair and Brenna Wethington honored. From left are Caylie's parents Bryan Blair and Terri Slinker, Caylie, head coach Anthony Epps, Brenna and her parents, Sheila and John Wethington. CHS senior athletes were honored on Friday, February 17. CHS girls' basketball team took on Anderson County that night, and senior players were honored before the game. Also honored was CHS cheerleader Lisa-Marie Richter, who is spending her junior year at CHS as a foreign exchange student. The three athletes were honored for their hard work and dedication this season. - Calen McKinney

Family Resource Center Grandparent Group meets

Grand Group met on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Adair County Extension Office with 10 grandparents in attendance. Grand Group is a support group for grandparents and other relatives who are the primary caregiver for their grandchildren. Pictured is Wendy Bullock, Community Outreach Coordinator for Aetna Better Health of Kentucky along with Jane Walkup, grandparent. Wendy shared about the services they offer and spoke about the health benefits of proper sleep for children and adults. Lunch and door prizes were also provided by Aetna. You are invited to join our monthly meetings for information, resources, and fun with other local "Grands."
