KY Afield Outdoors: Muskellunge in March

Jason McDowell, fish and wildlife management foreman for the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, holds a 48.4-inch, 41.9-pound muskellunge captured and released during recent population sampling on Cave Run Lake. Muskellunge are now moving shallow to feed, making them vulnerable to anglers on Cave Run, Green River, Buckhorn and Dewey lakes.
