Students in Samantha Coomer's class recently learned that waves are repetitive motions, and there are many types of waves. They also learned about amplitude and wavelength, and how to calculate them. Amplitude describes how much energy is being transported by the wave, and wavelength is the length of one complete wave cycle. To help them visualize waves, students performed an experiment. Students drew a wave using paper and markers.
