Stotts Construction Equipment mobilized for KY 704 water project 2017-03-27 - Antioch Community, Sparksville Road, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Stotts Construction Company, Columbia, KY, mobilized equipment last week in preparation for the KY 704 Water Line Project, which will bring adequate water pressure with room to grow to the area from the point above in the Antioch Community to Kentucky 704/Fairplay Road and adjoining areas. Monarch Engineers of Lawrenceburg, KY, is providing engineering for the project. Initial starting today will be directional bores under the roads, which will be followed by laying of the pipe. The contract calls for six months completion, but Lenny Stone, General Manager of the utility firm, says the project might take less time. Junior Stotts of Stotts Construction Company said that he expects impact for motorists should be minimal, with only occasional interruptions to travel.
