Famed photographer Bill Luster speaking at the Campbellsville University Media luncheon, above. Luster began his career in his native Glasgow, KY. He worked for the Glasgow Daily Times, which was headed by Carroll Knicely, and then spent 42 years with the Courier-Journal. Luster's shared many memorable moments and photos, including coverage of fellow Barren Countian Louie Nunn's years as Governor. He also had access to eight presidents during his career. But a very memorable anecdote for Adair, Metcalfe, and Barren Countians was a time in his early days. He said he headlined a story "Barren woman marries Breeding man," adding, "Mr. Knicely never asked me to do a wedding page layout again."
