Waltz, who taught his art in Maryland for many years, volunteers his talents frequently at Homeplace events. Here he’s working with Columbia’s Ty Coleman, son of Mark and Maggie Coleman. Green County’s Exie Boys helped inaugurate the newly restored bank barn at Saturday's Homeplace on Green River Plow Day/Spring Festival, Saturday, April 22, 2017. The ground was too wet for the plow teams, but many turned out to hear the Exie Boys, other local musicians and the many other exhibits, demonstrations and arts and crafts on display and for sale. The bank barn proved to be an excellent venue for the music with exceptional acoustics for such a large space.
