Mobilized to tackle the last 6.64 furlongs of pipeline construction to bring adequate water pressure to Fairplay Road, advance units of Stotts Construction Company were rested after a 3.2 furlong run on Kentucky Oaks Day, Friday, May 6, 2017. Work is scheduled to resume Monday, May 8, 2017, according to company trainer Junior Stotts, at which time the Derby will be long past and reports can be conveyed in tenths of a mile and yards.
