On a Clear Day Grider Hill Pass could be seen . . .

Ordinarily, at 7:01amCT, one could clearly see the Bridge over Pettit's Fork Creek and the crest of Grider Hill Pass at this point on the Chattanooga Highway, aka KY 61 South/KY 80 West/Burkesville Road, and officially, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Highway, but this morning, Saturday, May 13, 2017, only headlines and a dim outline of signs were visible through the fog. - EW

Elementary students win bikes for perfect attendance

Campbellsville Elementary School third-graders Easton Williams, left, and Adriana Garvin, have received bicycles for having perfect attendance this school year. Pitman Masonic Lodge #124 F&AM members in Campbellsville donated two bicycles to CES to be given to a boy and girl who have perfect attendance this school year. Garvin and Williams have attended school every day during the school year. CES Principal Ricky Hunt presented the bicycles at the school's last assembly of the school year on Friday, May 12.
