Betty's OKCC has extended hours for the summer. Now open Mon-Tue-Thu-Fri & Sat from 6am to 9pmCT - an hour later in the evenings. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. The landmark flower garden is continuously changing this summer, with varieties of lilies interspersed with Bachelor Buttons, hostas and, above, Knockout Roses a few days off from another punch of color.

CES students take field trip to Dinosaur World

Campbellsville Elementary School kindergarteners recently took a field trip to Dinosaur World. AboveLisa Wiseman, back left, poses with her students. Located in Cave City, Dinosaur World has more than 20 acres of land to explore. Students had fun at the fossil dig, gem excavation, prehistoric museum and many interactive exhibits.The kindergarteners also played on a playground, explored the Touch and Tell wall and went on the Dinosaur Walk.
