Catch your kids reading
2026-02-28 - Fairplay, KY - Photo by Veronica Arnold. Veronica writes, "I remember a literacy campaign called, 'Catch your child reading.' It pushed parents to take note and mention when they see their kids reading without being prompted. This positive spontaneous attention helps children feel seen when they do something good we all wish for them to pursue!!
Today I caught my child reading outside in her swing in the sunshine! Chores done, hot special Saturday breakfast consumed, time to relax and pick up a favorite novel!"
