Four Regions of Kentucky: SHIFT program
 2017-06-26 - Frankfort, KY - Photo from Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. SHIFT Regional Projects - Local transportation leaders, including Area Development Districts, Metropolitan Planning Organizations and KYTC Chief District Engineers, across the state will prioritize projects at the regional and district level. The state is grouped into four regions, comprised of three state highway districts in each. An equal portion of funds will be allocated to each region. The groups will consider more than 1,000 projects that have been scored using SHIFT. Regions will submit their selected projects to KYTC in early fall.

Epicurean Kentuckian (ad) Blue Plate Special at OKCC
 2017-06-26 - OK Country Cooking, 2339 Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY - Photo by CM Advertising . Betty's OK Country Cooking's Blue Plate Special, above, featured Country Fried Tenderloin. This plate featured an And-2 of brown gravy smothered in Real Mashed Potatoes, and baked beans - as good as could be found, with green peppers and onions. With a large cube of cornbread, the Blue Plate Special was $5.99 Monday, June 26, 2017. Something must have been right; the parking lot had cars from three states, counting Kentucky, a few cars from Adair County and many others.

D&D Longview Farms had tomatoes, blackberries, blueberries and more Saturday, June 24, 2017, at the Farmers Market on the Square, and discriminating buyers as well. In the distance can be seen blueberry stands, and beyond, a vendor with fresh sweet corn.
