Scenic Taylor County, KY: Tree & Barn of Charactor
2017-06-28 - East Lemmons Bend Road at Sublet Road, Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com(c). "Oh, they tell me of a cloud flecked sky." The song has it wrong, even when sung by Willie Nelson. Paradise without blue skies flecked with clouds? Unthinkable. Sounds more like an arid desert than a reward for eternity. In reality, heaven probably has plenty of Lemmons Bend early days of Summer Days, like the one above, on East Lemmons Bend Road in Taylor County. - EW. Photo 27 Jun 2017, diminished a bit by the optics through Honda windshield.

Similar bunting is on other Chuck Rogers properties on Greensburg and High Streets. Nice touch on Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, too. A CM thanks for making Columbia look good. - ED & LINDA.

SHIFT program projects in Eastern, Western KY could affect 'I-66'
2017-06-27 - Cumberland Parkway, Westbound, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com(c). None of the Top Seventy Statewide priorities are in Adair, Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe, Russell or Taylor Counties, but some which would affect the I-66 corridor are in that list. There was much hoopla when dignitaries of the Fletcher Administration came to Lindsey Wilson College amost ten years ago prior to unveiling the sign above, in the fall of 2007.
