The Onionburger made it's Beta-test debut at Patty Edwards' store on Liberty Road yesterday, and it was a smash hit - but we haven't heard whether or not it will get a regular rotation on the menu. We can affirm that it was excellent, especially as fixed up, above. And we didn't have the frame of reference those who have travelled Route 66, where the original onion burger is said to have been invented. The Burton twins, Jacob, left, and Joseph, are key individuals at Saturday Farmers Markets, according to Barbara Armitage, FM2 Coordinator. They provide information to new-to-the-market individuals, help with the Square Meals cafe, and run errands market staff. They are the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Burton, and the grandsons of one of Adair County's most honored timbermen, the late Joseph Burton.
