The little bridge over Big Creek at the intersection of Old Gradyville Road and Paul Coomer Road was the first closure of the day, today, on Friday, 1 Sep 2017, by Adair County Road Foreman Terry Corbin, and the first to re-open. This photo was taken at 12:30pmCT, after the road had reopened. There was plenty of evidence of the wide swath in bottom land pastures flattened a few hours earlier, however. Mr. Corbin urges everyone to be extremely cautious on Adair County Roads today, especially lowlying areas, including this one.
