Dr. Ben Arnold sends the NOAA chart above with this note: "Date set as shown for measurement site 19226 from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Now you don't have to be a strong scientist to observe this data doesn't look like normal atmospheric changes. The abrupt measured changes looks to me like instrument calibration. Thousands and thousands of such measurement sites are on going, many unfortunately near larger cities where the 'urban heating effect', caused by all the power used to light and heat homes and buildings creates a small increase in atmospheric temperatures in that area. Global warming is for sure a complex and changing phenomenon, just perfect for zealots to capitalize on for profits in books and movies.
