CIS students, staff members participate in homecoming parade Campbellsville Independent Schools’ students and staff members celebrated football homecoming with a parade on Friday, September 22, 2017 during the school day. The parade began at the Campbellsville High School campus and traveled to the Campbellsville Elementary School campus, and traveled around the Durham Track and Field Complex. Green County, KY: Kayaking on Green River

Kayakers and canoeists were enjoying a perfect fall day Sunday, September 24, 2017, in Green County. Above a dozen or so individuals could be seen from the bridge, and over at the Paddle Trail in Greensburg, the lower parking lot was filled with cars and trucks at the put in ramp. The scene is along the picturesque KY 417, near Blowing Springs Road. - EW

Willie knows about dangers of crossing busy road

Willie is mourning the loss of his best friend Pepper who recently lost his life in traffic on Hwy 61. Pepper was an adventuresome dog. Willie is one who stays closer. Willie shares his home with Marsha and Richard Lee Walker. All three really miss Pepper.
