Travelers on the LBN Parkway could see the the huge crane towering over the cell tower and wondered whether there were people up there. There were. In this photo, it gives a perspective of relative height above the house, workers can barely be seen, but they are there, providing added entertainment for diners enjoying hamburgers, pizzas, egg rolls, subs and deli meals along Jamestown Street's Hamburger Row in between Hurt and Harvey. Lindsey Wilson College's Minja Gligic and Jovana Peric captured the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Southeast Region women's doubles title Sunday, September 24, 2017, at the Lackey Tennis Center. The Blue Raider tandem defeated Campbellsville's (Ky.) Kaede Amano and Majella Nobile -- the tournament's top-seed -- 8-6 to claim the title. Today's win marks the second-seeded team that Gligic and Peric defeated during the single-elimination tournament. They also dismissed the third-seed pair during the tournament. Gligic and Peric ended the tournament with a 5-0 record. Gligic and Peric posted a 14-3 record last season as a doubles team. Wave Petunias are great for hanging baskets like these on the lamp posts in Greensburg. Mixing them with American flags are especially beautiful, the slightest breeze moves both the flowers and the flags. While Petunias look easy to grow, blooming every day summer through fall, they require watering every day and a dose of plant food every couple of weeks plus what Mom always called "dead heading," getting withering blossoms off the plant to make way for growth of new ones.
