(Ad Photo) Epicurean Kentuckian: An area top omelet by Patty
2017-10-20 - Liberty Road General Store & Deli, 5097 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY - Photo by CM advertising . (Ad) Admittedly, this is by a breakfast person who rarely meets an omelet she didn't like - but this is one so good it's recommended to friends who are breakfast devotees who might just get a craving for one any time of the day. This one has a variation of Patty Edwards' blend of peppers and onions with mushrooms, sausage and cheese added. Easy to order, it's at table a few minutes after the coffee, drinks, flatware and special condiments, including Texas Pete are placed on the table. 'Bout as good as omelets get.

Willard Parnell, at 90, still making waves on Green River Lake
2017-10-19 - Green River Lake, Taylor County, KY - Photo by Wayne Baxter. If you are on Green River Lake this fall, you might want to be on the lookout for Willard Parnell. He may be out there cruising around, fishing and creating interesting pictures like this one I snapped six years ago when only 84 years old. His brother, who lives in Chicago gets the news from back home daily in the CM. He will be glad to know that Willard was in rare form at the Campbellsville, KY McDonald's coffee club Thursday morning, October 19, 2017. - Wayne Baxter
