Charles Lynwood Gore, Class President of the Adair County High School Class of 1962, was the emcee for the 60 year reunion of the class at one of Adair County's most beautiful events centers, Creekside Barn in Gradyville. His duties were light; the group had been promised they would meet, greet, eat and go home - no elaborate program and that's what they did. Mr. Gore introduced Joe Lynn Barbee, who introduced Dr. Pamela Stephens, whose announcement was a surprise to almost everyone at the gathering . . .

Breeding Fire Department Chili Supper Auction

Preparation immediately before the doors open at 4pmCT takes longer than the even itself, and everyone chips in to make the Breeding Fire Dept. Annual Chili Supper & Auction. Above, Chaplain Jesse Hagan, President of the Board Nathan Petty, Jonathan Beams and Dennis Rowe were working in the huge dining area at around 3pmCT, when this photo was taken. The Gospel Sounds will perform at times thoughout tonight's event. Chili will be served starting at 4pmCT, and the auction starts at 5pmCT. - EW
