LWC Homecoming 86 holds White Coat Ceremony 2017-10-24 - Lindsey Wilson College, 210 Lindsey Wilson Street, Columbia, KY - Photo LWC Office of Public Relations. A total of 19 Lindsey Wilson College nursing students took a major step Friday night when they were presented their white coats at a blessing and white coat ceremony in V.P. Twenty years ago, the John B. Begley Chapel opened. Called a "strong and vibrant symbol of the Lindsey Wilson mission," the Chapel has since been the venue for countless worship services, weddings, prayer meetings and lectures. Twenty years later, the LWC community gathered again to commemorate the dedication of the John B. Begley Chapel. A symbol of the mission and values of the methodist-affiliated college, the Begley Chapel is the inspiration behind the official Lindsey Wilson College logo.
