Beef cattle producers who would like to learn more about weaning practices are invited to attend a weaning workshop to be held at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service, 409 Fairground Street, Columbia, KY, Monday, October 30, 2017 at 6pmCT. The workshop will be held in a roundtable discussion format with UK Extension Beef Specialist Dr. Jeff Lehmkuler serving as speaker and moderator. Kitten missing; maybe near LWC, maybe Keltnertown/Mell Ridge

I'm asking if anyone comes across our kitten could you please contact me. We live out in the Keltnertown/Mell Ridge area, but last night I drove to Lindsey Wilsons campus. She has never climbed up in my car, but I know it could be a possibility. She is about 3 months old so she is still fairly small but larger than she is in this picture. I know it's a long shot for us to find her but I have a little girl that is broken hearted and well I am too so I have to give it a try. Headed to the back yard to catch the sunset that didn't pan out. Then I realized that I was standing right next to something that would. A aging fence post and primitive looking bird house. Lot of birds have made this their home over the past 10 years. I watched a peckerwood one day trying to make the hole large enough for him, but gave up after about 20 minutes. - Tommy Bailey
