Little Renox Creek Waterfall, Below the Bridge - Robert Ellis

2017-10-29 - Cumberland Co., KY - Photo by Robert Ellis, Robert Ellis Woodworking.com.
Little Renox Creek Waterfall, Below the Bridge, Highway 61, 28th Oct 2017 Almost deleted this photo, since it was exposed very dark. Generally I like my photos when processing to stay as close to the image as shot, but this was significantly improved with a heavy hand of editing, to the extent of crossing over into artwork??? Of course the issue is debatable of what makes a good photographer, nevertheless, folks that I've shown it to like it, and I do as well and I suppose that is all that matters anyway. - Robert Ellis (c) Robert Ellis

JIM: Some great buys advertised 80 years ago in Columbia, KY

2017-10-29 - Columbia, KY - Photo from the collection of JIM.
These were among the great mid-autumn deals available to Adair Countians eighty years ago. The ads appeared in the October 27, 1937 Adair County News. (For those interested in such matters, the can of soup would cost $1.70 in today's dollars, and the '29 Chevy coach would lighten one's wallet by $850.) - JIM
