Kayla Garrison, local author and philanthropist, could not be present, but copies of her book were available. Kadee's Hope: A Family's Fight Against Childhood Cancer, is her response to a world in need. At right is author Joe Fair, a Vietnam veteran who resides at Campbellsville, Taylor County, with copies of his Call Sign Dracula: My Tour With the Black Scarves, April 1969 to March 1970, which provides an outstanding, valuable and worthy in-depth look into the life of a U.S. Army Infantry soldier serving with the famed 1st Infantry Division--The Big Red One--in Vietnam. - Linda Waggener

Cocoa and Dozier are home. - Cindy Thrasher, 16 Nov 2017
Cocoa and Dozier are missing in the Flatwoods/Sparksville area. They are wearing collars with blue rabies tags from Red Barn vet clinic. Cocoa has on a pink Harley Davidson collar and Dozier's is black. They are reddish brown and white lab/hound mixes around 50# each. Cocoa is 12 years old and Dozier is 11, they dug out of the fence early Saturday morning and have not been spotted since. Please call or text day or night if you see them. They are friendly and tame, but are not good around cats. We are frantic looking for them, please if you see them let us know as soon as possible. 270-250-1295. Thank you Cindy Thrasher
