Campbellsville University education student Scott Caffee plays the bassoon for CES second-graders. Campbellsville Elementary School students are learning about musical instruments. In Cyndi Chadwick's classes, students are discussing many different types of instruments, and how they are used to make sound. Woodwind instruments, such as the clarinet, saxophone and the bassoon, create sound through a mouthpiece and reed. To see how a woodwind works, Campbellsville University education student Scott Caffee, who is Chadwick's student teacher, played the bassoon for students. Students studied how the instrument uses a double reed and keys to make sound. Kentucky State Police are asking for the public's assistance locating Lori Peavy. Ms. Peavy was last seen yesterday around 3pmCT, in the Paducah, Kentucky area. At the time of her last known sighting, Ms. Peavy was in the company of Billy Jo Williams. Mr. Williams is described as a 42 white male, with short dark hair and a receding hairline. He is 5'09", and weighs approximately 155 lbs. Mr. Williams has multiple active warrants to include a felony indictment in Kentucky for Assault 2nd Degree. He is to be considered dangerous and should not be approached. Walmart Supercenter Manager Sam Scharbrough said he knew of no other place he'd rather spend Saturday morning with than with the Adair County Veterans and their families at the annual VFW breakfast. He thanked each and every one of them for their service to our country. He also said he'd never been more proud of his Walmart team who'd been responsible for the organization and preparation of the breakfast.
