Has anyone evaluated unharvested mistletoe crop in Adair?

2017-11-28 - Greater Glens Fork, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
It's green gold amid gullible urban Christmas shoppers, one would think. And we wonder if anyone has cruised Adair County to see how much unharvested mistletoe is unexploited this year? Must be thousands of tons, looking at this excellent but relatively common crop. It would take an experienced timberman to do the calculations, and an experience Christmas for fun & profit exploiter to translate the tonnage in to it's street value and one who understands currency exchange to give comparable values in rubles, Whole Foods, New York, and the highest rate of all, cute little kids selling to their neighbors. Probably put marijuana to shame - and this crop is dunreddy legal. Just wondered. It worries me somewhat. - EW

2017-11-28 - Henry Baughman Tennis Complex, 401 Spickard Drive, Lindsey Wilson College, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Late to fall leaves, foreground, and lights in military order - for revielle, which didn't sound - gave an interesting pattern to the Henry Baughman Tennis Complex on Saturday morning, November 25, 2017. Even without the bugle call, it was a huge day on campus, and students and the town were soon up to take in as much of the beautiful day as possible. - EW
